Hong Kong-based private equity specialist and investor Christopher Hsu has played an integral role in several of U.S.-Asia and U.S.-China’s most important strategic transactions.
Mr. Chris Hsu led Tsinghua University’s buyout of Spreadtrum Communications, its merger strategic combination with RDA Microelectronics, and acquisition of a majority interest in Hewlett Packard China – H3C, overseen by his company Kilometre Capital.
He served as the CEO and Managing Partner of Abax Global Capital, and as Managing Director of Citadel Investment Group, among the world’s largest and most prestigious asset managers.
Born in Taiwan, Christopher Hsu began his career after receiving his BS in Management Science Engineering from Stanford University, from which he received the President’s Award in recognition of exceptional academic performance and contributions to the Stanford community. During Mr. Chris Hsu’s tenure at Citadel, Mr. Hsu oversaw the establishment of Citadel’s private investment and special situations business in Hong Kong and Asia.
